The Mashpee Wampanoag

In September 1620 the English ship Mayflower, with 102 pilgrims on board, set sail from Plymouth, crossed the Atlantic Ocean and landed on the shores of Massachusetts.

Four hundred years later members of the local Mashpee community describe the impact the arrival of the Pilgrims has had on their way of life and share their history and culture.
