The Morley Library, Winchester Bible and Triforium Gallery
The South Transept, including the Triforium Gallery and Morley Library, are closed due to a major Capital Works Project. The Winchester Bible is on display in a temporary exhibition in the North Transept and is open between 10 am and 4 pm Monday – Saturday and is closed on Sundays. It is also occasionally closed during services or events. Please check our temporary closures page.
The Deanery Bookstall
Find wonderful secondhand books in the Deanery. Funds raised are used to support Cathedral music. Open every day from 10am-4pm (subject to volunteer availability). For enquires and to donate books please call 01962 857 253 or email shop@winchester-cathedral.org.uk.
Dean Garnier Garden
This tranquil and beautifully planted small garden, which stands on the site of the monks’ dormitory off the Inner Close, is normally open between 9am and 4pm. If you find it’s closed when you visit, please contact the Virgers on 01962 857 226.
