Kings Park Hotel, Retford

The Kings Park Hotel was formally the town’s police station which dates back to 1890.

The hotel emerged due to extensive renovation and is now the first boutique hotel in the area, with a great deal to offer travellers looking for a hotel where they can take it easy with amenities that make them feel at home.

Excellent travel links to Doncaster Sheffield airport, the A1 and M1 motorway plus the Retford mainline train station (less than 90 minutes from London) - an ideal base for exploring the Pilgrim Roots region.

12 bedrooms (Double, Twin, King, Family, Executive and Bridal), all contemporary styled and en-suite, with three ground floor rooms available. Several rooms have views over Retford's King's Park. In addition, there is an apartment with double en-suite bedroom, private living space and fully fitted kitchen.

Full range of teas and coffee, large flat screen TVs, free Wi-Fi and many rooms have a desk. For extra space, choose the extra large double room.

Dine in the 32-seat Old Police Station restaurant and bar with modern British cuisine, or for something a little more unique, dine in one of two former police cells. In the summer months, the restaurant doors open on to a pleasant courtyard. Restaurant and bar have a wheelchair-accessible lift from the pavement allowing access through to the hotel.
