Visit a fine example of a working English Tower Mill, dating from 1819.
Maud Foster Mill is a working windmill. Visitors can climb all seven floors to the top of the mill, and see flour being made in the traditional way by wind power.
There is a shop on site that sells stoneground flour, porridge oats, local history books and a variety of good quality souvenirs.
Part of the granary attached to the mill has been converted into self-catering accommodation - so why not make this a quirky base from which to explore Boston and the story of the Mayflower Pilgrims.
