Film series explores historic churches and key figures in Mayflower story

In October 2020, Pilgrim Roots and the Bassetlaw Museum announced an exciting series of videos which explore a number of key locations in the Mayflower story.

'Pilgrim Churches, Where It All Began' is a series of seven videos set in the local churches the passengers and crew would have known in the 17th century.

These short films feature sites and stories from across the Pilgrim Roots region - in Babworth, Retford, Worksop, Sturton, Gainsborough, Scrooby and Austerfield.

A different video launched every Thursday evening at 8pm, from 8 October to 19 November.
